Papua Partners is a new not-for-profit organisation, established in 2006 in order to respond to the need for building capacity of civil society in West Papua. We aim to partner with local organisations and churches to empower and improve livelihoods in local communities. We do this through provision of technical support, organisational development and funding of innovative initiatives.

Yasumat's work in empowering women in Ninia has been chosen to appear in the UNDP (United Nations Development Program) Global Report. This is a report that shares good practice in development from all over the world. They had to choose two examples representing Indonesia so the fact that Yasumat was chosen is a huge encouragement to their hard work.
