| Just after the Top Wave is the Put-in Pool. If not crowded when you get in, this is a good place for a gentle warm-up and the odd practice squirt and roll if you fancy it! | |||||

| Only thing to note here is the amount of plastic left on the concrete jetty as paddlers slide into the pool. If you don't want to skim a few millimetres off the bottom of your new boat, take care here. This pool can also get quite crowded in the morning as the course starts off on low-flow and clubs go out in groups to introduce new paddlers to white water. So, be courteous, have a bit of a play, and head down the course as soon as your group is ready. | |||||
