The Looping Pool
The Looping Pool - probably the main feature of the course for most people, with a 3 foot plus drop and a good hole at the bottom. The majority of the action for both spectator and paddler happens here.

When first introduced to this spot I thought it was called the 'looping pool' because of the very strong eddy currents on both sides - to back that up, I've since seen new paddlers go round and round in the eddys trying to break into the main flow to escape down stream. However, MY MISTAKE as looping is the predominant activity of most of the experienced paddlers playing in here. This spot is great fun - just watch out for paddlers coming over the top when you are playing in the hole.
