This is a large area to play in, with a strong eddy returning you to the action, also a very good spot to get the group together for a play and a bit of training ... The only issue worth considering here is that as the flow increases the likelihood of "billy-the-fish" swimming over the fall into the Looping Pool is quite high if you're not quick with a throw-line - swimming the looping pool is not really much of an issue, however it is a somewhat 'sphincter twitching' moment for a beginner! - but great for photographers on the sidelines!
