A History of Innovation and Inspiration

Founded in 1987 by Peter Trenier and Graham Mansfield, the company grew out of their mutual interest in the early use of IT in money broker dealing rooms. Together they envisioned the advent of the FRA and Swap market in London as an opportunity to develop software applications that would better serve traders in banks and money brokerages.

Today, the company remains firmly focused on providing the best analytical tools and services to meet the ongoing and changing business needs of financial trading and energy institutions around the world.

October		PricewaterhouseCoopers invites Kalahari to join its CWEP Programme.

March		Launches kACE Energy.

2001
April		First global contract signed with Tullett & Tokyo.

2004
March		Purchases source code from liquidated rival, Beast Financial Systems.
April		Partners with Moneyline Telerate to deliver zero coupon yield curve data.
September		Unveils high-volume, real-time bond & asset swap portfolio pricing.
November		Launches kACE Publishing.

2007
April		FTSE Index Company uses kACE to calculate all bond and fixed income indices.
September		First EONIA trade is made through kACE
