How to use the Content Management System

This course shows each delegate how to manage one or more Content Managed Areas in a website. It is aimed at members of staff who will be responsible for changing the content in the web site.

Prerequisites:     Each delegate should be comfortable with surfing the internet and filling in simple forms on web pages.
Requirements:     During the course, each delegate should have access to a PC, connected to the internet, with Internet Explorer 5.5+.
Duration:     4 hours.
Max Numbers:     6 people.

By the end of the course, each delegate will be able to login to the Content Management System, update content in one or more Content Managed Areas, and publish the new content to the main website.

How to integrate Content Managed Areas with your website

This course shows each delegate how to include one or more Content Managed Areas in the main website. The course discusses alternative techniques, and highlights good practice. The course is tailored to the technical platform of the target website.

Prerequisites:     Each delegate should be comfortable with making technical changes to the website, including server-side updates.
Requirements:     None.
Duration:     2 hours.
Max Numbers:     4 people.

By the end of the course, each delegate will be able to update the website to include the Content Managed Areas produced by the Content Management System.
